The Founder’s Story 🦅

From The South of France to Miami

The Westhouse story begins with the founder from the south of France who has made Miami her home. Her journey has been marked by frequent travels between Miami and Las Vegas, working in the vibrant nightlife industry. This lifestyle, filled with the energy and excitement of the cities, contrasts sharply with the introspective journey she would later undertake.

The Las Vegas Revelation

During one of her stays in Las Vegas, an unexpected anxiety developed. Each morning, as the sun rose and cast its light over the mountains, a sense of unease would wash over her. Initially attributed to a dislike of the stark desert landscape, it soon became clear that the anxiety was rooted in something deeper and more mysterious.

A Desert Retreat

Intrigued by the desert, she chose to embrace it rather than flee from it. Although not living there permanently, she spent time in a house in the Nevada desert, accompanied only by her loyal French bulldog, Maya. This solitude provided space to write extensively and reflect on her emotions. It was in this vast and empty landscape that she discovered the full depth of her feelings and creativity.

Spiritual Awakening in Sedona

Her journey of self-discovery led her to Sedona, Arizona, a place known for its spiritual energy and stunning red rock formations. Here, she experienced a profound spiritual awakening, recognizing a deep connection to her inner self and the world around her.

Self-Love and Authenticity in New Mexico

Continuing her exploration, she undertook a trip to the desert of New Mexico. It was in this serene environment that she cultivated self-love, ideas and embraced her authentic identity. The desert's stark beauty and silence allowed her to listen to her inner voice and understand her true self and purpose.

Designing a Lifestyle

Faced with the decision of building a house in the desert or creating an inspiring lifestyle for others, she chose to channel her emotions into design, by creating the concept of The Arizona house. Her work reflects the rich tapestry of experiences, emotions, and the landscapes that shaped her journey. Through these creations, she shares her story, inviting others to explore their own paths of self-discovery and authenticity.
